National Honor Society
The Sequoyah Schools Chapter of the National Honor Society consists of Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors who meet the four ideals of the society: Character, Leadership, Scholarship, and Service. Each member must uphold these ideals throughout the school year to be in good standing with the society. The Sequoyah Schools Chapter partake in several service projects throughout the year. These projects include walking dogs at the local Humane Society, the Veteran's Day Assembly, NHS Induction Ceremony, Sequoyah Alumni Banquet, Northeastern State University Service Sunday, Reading Buddies as well as other events that the school and community gain from.
